Grown predominantly on the ancient red Cambrian soils, this wine is made from a blend of our two vineyards. The fruit is hand-harvested and whole berry fermented in individual batches to preserve the clonal diversity. French and American oak is used to add structure, elegance and spice. Full of deep dark concentrated fruit, we add 2% viognier to add an extra layer of complexity.
Vintage 2018 delivered warm days and cool nights, providing a long, slow maturation period. The result is intensely dark berry fruit aromatics that leads on to a palate full of flavour. This is further enhanced by sweet oak spice that is held together with firm structural tannins providing complexity and layering.
The 2018 vintage will not disappoint.
