This wine honours Thomas Craven, a pioneering character lured to Victoria by the 1850’s gold rush.
The grapes for the Cravens Place Shiraz are sourced from the warmer north of the Heathcote region.
Ideal vintage conditions in 2018 resulted in deep rich Shiraz with dark fruit characters and lifted aromatics.
This wine is aged for a short period in a combination of French and American oak lending it fine tannins and giving the wine immediate appeal.
